DCCpro ADC - Health Check

DCCpro provides a health check report for F5 Networks’ BIG-IP ADC-platforms. The report consists of finding possible configuration errors, vulnerabilities and incoherencies in the deployment. The status, capacity and reliability of the BIG-IP platform are also evaluated. The findings are documented into report and change suggestions are based on DCCpro best practices. The best practices are a based on F5 recommendations as well as years of first hand experience of F5 deployments from DCC. The aim of the final report is to give the customer a clear view of the current status of the platform as well as a tool for future development.

 

Part of the health check also consists of evaluating the administration, monitoring, documentation as well as knowledge of the BIG-IP platform. The administration of the platform can be enhanced by for example dividing the configuration into separate administrative partitions as well as ensuring needed levels of logging and monitoring with SNMP-traps.
